DOWNTOWN STUDENT FACILITY TRUST                                  16 July 2003

      MINUTES OF THE EIGHT MEETING OF DOWNTOWN STUDENT TRUST held
      on 16 July 2003 at 5pm at Peter Robinson College, at
      Squash Cout Hall, Trent U, Peterborough, Ontario.

P R E S E N T: Marisa Barnhart. Catherine Dickinson, John K Muir, 
               Matthew Naylor & Fraser Smith 

Also Present: No-one

Notice of this Meeting having been made to all the Trustees, and quorum of
the Trustees being present in person, the Meeting was declared duly
constituted and called to order at 5:05 p.m., with Catherine Dickinson
acting as Chair and John Muir acting as Secretary.

Chair's Opening Comments:
The Chair welcomed the those gathered at the Meeting.  An agenda was agreed
upon and discussion followed.

The minutes of the previous Trustees' Meeting were presented.

UPON A MOTION duly made seconded and carried unanimously the Minutes of the
Trust held on 09 July 2003 were approved as amended.

Offer Update:
It was reported that the mutual releases described at the last meeting of 
the Trust had been executed on Monday, 07 July 03.  The signed back offer
made by the Trust is expected soon. 

Discussion followed regarding the best way to express our thanks to Scott 
Douglas and Richard Taylor for their efforts.  Marisa Barnhart will 
organise this.

TrentU Update:
A meeting has been scheduled with Garth Brownscombe (TrentU Director 
Financial Services) for 19 Aug 03. In the meantime a letter will be sent to 
Mr. Brownscombe requesting a "letter of comfort" in regards to the 
collection and remittance of the Trust's student levy.

It was reported that various people have been informed as to the 
aspirations of the Trust.

It was decided that the Trustess should meet in two weeks, or
when the Trust's offer is signed back.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
